The signature

An engineer's name on every design.

Most solar quotes are produced by a sales team and never seen by an engineer. Ours work the other way around. Every Lightwell design is prepared and signed by our co-founder Onur Kaya, a registered professional engineer with fifteen years in energy, and the signature on your drawing is the same one on our warranty. If a design is not good enough to sign, it does not leave the building.

How it works

Six steps. You will know where you are at all of them.

1 · The Energy Exam

We start with your bill and your switchboard, not a brochure. Thirty minutes, at your table or on a video call.

2 · The numbers, shown working

A fixed written quote with every dollar on one page and every assumption disclosed. No allowances, no surprises.

3 · The install

Accredited crews, engineer-checked, left clean. We book a date and keep it.

4 · The paperwork

Certificates, registrations and rebates handled and lodged for you, with copies in your handover pack.

5 · The Daylight Check

Day fourteen, we compare what we promised with what your system is actually doing, and show you both numbers.

6 · For life

Monitoring on every system, and a real person who answers when you call in year seven.

Start here

Own your evenings.

Melbourne power is cheapest in the middle of the day and most expensive from 4pm to 9pm, exactly when your home uses it most. A battery moves your cheap daytime sun into your expensive evenings. That is the whole trick, and it is why we design the battery first and the panels around it.

Show the working

Your numbers, before your name.

Type in your postcode and your average bill and we will show you the system we would recommend, what it costs after rebates, and what it should save, before we ask who you are. Every assumption is disclosed. Check our maths with anyone you like, including an AI. We built the page so you could.

The name

What is a lightwell?

A lightwell is a shaft built into the middle of a building so daylight reaches the rooms that would otherwise stay dark. No machinery, no trick, just honest design that lets the sun do the work. That is what we do to energy bills, so that is the name on the door. The full story is here.
